Marbella is a city with several parks and gardens perfect for relaxing, places to unwind and enjoy great peace of mind during your break in the Costa del Sol.

Although in general this is a heavily urbanised town, Marbella offers numerous parks and gardens for the enjoyment of both tourists and locals.

El Parque de la Constitución, Parque Arroyo de la Represa, and the Alameda are repleat with lush vegetation the centre of Marbella. Here children come to play, chat and even more to relax and enjoy an oasis of calm in the town centre.

The Alameda Park is undoubtedly the most famous in Marbella, lying in front of the old town, while El Parque de la Constitución features an open auditorium where concerts and events are held throughout the summer.

El Parque Arroyo de la Represa is the largest of the three, inside we find the Museo del Bonsai, fountains and sports fields.

The trio of parks in the town centre is completed by the Parque Paco Cantos, located above the Avenida Ricardo Soriano, towards Puerto Banus.

In the remainder of the municipality there are parks including Parque Pinar de Nagüeles, a perfect place for a barbecue with your family or friends, a few miles from the town centre. It is an interesting place for a day out, leaving the beach and enjoying the nature of the surrounding area.

Marbella is also home to a beautiful botanical garden called the Jardín Botánico El Angel. Located on the road that leads to Istan, at the height of the village El Angel, this garden is one of the oldest in Spain.
