At the film festival which takes place once a year, art meets glamour in Costa del Sol.

The Marbella film festival is specialised in independent film making and it brings takes this works of art out of the dark onto big screens to be watched by a selective audience.

All five continents are represented during the festival: Europe, Africa, Asia, Austrialia and the Americas.

Parallel to the different showings of independent films, there is much more happening during the Marbella Film Festival like: Concerts, workshops, conferences, art exhibitions, dance performances... all this gives Marbella a very glamorous and wealthy atmosphere.

The film festival 2006 took place from September 4th-8th.

The Hotel Puente Romana is hosting the event.

Because of its excellent position between the city centre of Marbella and Puerto Banus, it is the ideal place for the Film festival.
